    Fulham Sign Harry Wilson

See Fulham sign Harry Wilson for 12 million which was 11 million and 900,000 more than we were willing to pay!

Fulham were relegated like us and kept the majority of their squad together - add a 12 million player and Marco Silva for their manager! Fulham are not a bigger club than us and were purchased cheaper than us, but the owner invests and ours invests sweet f uck all. Why? Then some of our fans say expectations are too high FFS!!!

Even Harrogate Town spend more money on players than we do!!! Can somebody not get it at the club - we have not had a striker who can score since Gayle left!!!!! Trying Phillips in a central role will never work and would rather have Kanu than Zohore and that's scraping the barrel!

Disappointing, but sadly not unexpected. As you allude baggieal buddy there is little serious ambition within the ownership. Not just currently, but a systemic condition for many years.
Our aim seems to be a Premiership contender. If successful, we expect limited time in there.
Without a major ownership change in personnel and philosophy things will not change.

Exactly Prando and hope you are well! I have a feeling though Val may get the best out of players like Diangana - Grant and Livermore so looking forward to it. We really need a goal scorer though!

I believe Fulham are not paying anything for Wilson until 2022 because they would break the FFP rules, how can this sort of deal be allowed? i also don't think Wilson is that good anyway.

So which one of Harrogate Town's five free transfer signings are we coveting today then?

Remember, there's no such thing as a free lunch so I suppose they'll still want paying , you couldn't make it up Al' 😊 ........

Hit it on the head 68. Even Harrogate are losing a lot of players off their books, either at end of loan or to others on frees. All about balancing the books and for us, certainly on a massively reduced income.

I know it is boring but in modern football summer recruitment every year is the make or break for all clubs. Get it right and you are in for a good season. Get it wrong and you are potentially in a relegation fight and you are stuck with players that are hard to get rid of unless you take a big financial hit.

Can’t see many queuing up to buy Zahore, Sawyers for example for big money so it makes balancing the books tough once you get it wrong and we have done that a lot over the last 3 or 4 years.
