We have been informed that away supporters will not be permitted to attend Saturday’s pre-season friendly at Solihull Moors.

Ian Burchnall’s squad will complete their preparations for the 2021-22 season with a trip to the West Midlands but the Moors’ safety advisory group have decided that only home fans will be in attendance due to rising Covid-19 cases in the local area.

We understand this news will be disappointing for many of our supporters and we will therefore be streaming the match for free on our YouTube channel. Further details will follow ahead of the match.

I think it is not a bad idea to play someone in your division as the last pre season game, and treat it as a proper fixture so you can see exactly where you are. It was good to see the game would not have taken place if the two sides had been due to meet in the first eight league games.
