I have had a sudden pang of guilt over constantly criticising Cambridge United, after all they were an early love. The southern league days up to 1969 were magic.

First loves endure and never go away, even in the face of abuse in regards to results, money and now politics. If you have ever loved anything, never mind a football club, a small remnant never goes away. South Street will always remain in my heart.

Oh those tuesday nights standing by the rail in front of the supporters club, in the 1960s, with the temperature minus 3, and my feet tingling with cold. Closing that bit was a big blow.

So, as i contemplate my guilt, err, what was i saying?....its gone. Blast.

Ignore this.
