The time difference ruins the usual experience for me.
Like yourself Q I love the Triathlon and I thought it was a great watch.
I have to eat my previous words about not watching the Olympics. In my defence I have only seen a tiny bit on the box but have caught a lot on line and it has been very good. I love triathlon and was mightily impressed by the GB girl/lady/woman who got a silver despite having a flat tyre. I also really like the swimming and regret not having seen much more. Just now I have seen a girl/lady/woman win a silver in a really tough event I previously would not have given the time of day to, canoeing. I am going away next week which is a big shame as I would have watched a lot more. Anybody else gone back on their stated intentions?

I'd be more inclined to watch it next week when the track and field begin but then again...
I like watching all the different sports where there is a British competitor. Loved the Taekwondo and the boxing is building to some good finals.
I don't watch the Olympics, people running and jumping, most animals could catch and eat athletes given the chance.
I did like to watch It's a Knockout though.
Like all sports, the Olynpics suffer from the lack of spectators. This will become more evident when the athletic track events start. To my mind they are the most entertaining events but will not hold the same allure because of the lack of atmosphere that the crowds generate. Some of the sports, such as rifle shooting, archery, mountain biking and many more don't rely on spectators in the same way.
The olympics has been hijacked by other major sports. Since then I’ve lost interest. It was something different in its own right. Ice hockey, football, tennis, have their own round the year coverage. Should have kept their noses out. Just the way I feel about it.
