After watching the Man City game - one change in the starting line up - Benson in for Palmer.
I’m a big fan of Palmer but I think Benson will be a big hit this season.
    And …..
B,Williams on the bench for Oduor.
Moon on the bench for Kane.

    No room for paper tigers.
    He’s a liability.
    Against City it proved it.
Missed a tap in - that Victor and Frieser would have easily scored.
Gave away an absolutely ridiculous penalty by grabbing hold of their players shirt with both hands and trying to rip it off his back - schoolboy football.
Totally lost his marker on the back post for their 4th goal.
Produced absolutely nothing going forward during the game.

So no - IMO he’s behind Victor and Frieser in the line of capable strikers we have.
Obbi, Cole, Morris and Leya will be our strike force this season.
Woodrow used to be good - but he ain’t now.
And as I’ve said previously …… fingers crossed he proves me wrong.

Hey, it seems like most of us want to see Brad Collins in goal, rather than Jack Walton ?.
I also agree with this because I can't fault Collins, he took his chance last season well and he ran with it.
Ok the sweeper keeper thing looked worryingly bad at times, but after Jack lost his way a bit, I think Brad came in and did very well.

Woodrow looks ring rusty to me. If anything he needs more game time. I'm convinced he's our best player when on song. I don't think we played to his strengths at all under Struber or Val.

A more traditional English approach with wingers and running at the opposition might suit him more.

I’ve got to agree with animal and acido, Walton in goal for me. Collins is great when our defense is playing on the half way line but I think Walton is the better shot stopper.

Absolutely agree Steve. The Schopp way of playing might see him score more goals from open play.
