World Cup Qualifying starts in September. One group of 8 teams, top 3 advancing to Qatar and the 4th place team into a playoff for a spot at the World Cup. Would think USA and Mexico get two of the top three spots (thought that for 2018 qualifying but that didn’t happen!). Next two spots should be interesting. Costa Rica, Panama and Honduras not as strong as they have been the last couple cycles. I thought Canada looked solid in the Gold Cup and they were without their best player and one of their top scorers. Other two teams are El Salvador and Jamaica.
