Thread: Fleetwood Friendly

    Fleetwood Friendly

Played quite well - conceded two soft goals one a dodgy pen.

A lot of them looked physically stronger than last year and able to cope physically - bodes well for the coming season.

Shocker from the keeper for their equaliser.

If he doesn’t go out on loan I can see Summerville getting time in the 1st team rides tackles and has so much pace

It's a development squad, made a couple of mistakes and paid for them, that's part of developing!

Agree they will learn from that but you can see how many of them have already developed from last year - Cresswell went off with a head knock but before that he looked pretty commanding.

Bate looked promising but was trying too many glory passes at the end rather than keeping it simple.

I thought they were very good, bossed Fleetwood in first half really and then just gave away two soft goals in second.

Really impressed with Cresswell he looks to be getting better and better.

Summerville had a great game and was impressed with Bate when he got into the game nearer the end.

It is promising anyway that for a total junior side bar Forshaw they didn't look out of their depth physically or on the ball. Some times these friendlies you can see younger lads get bullied but there was very little of that.
