We all eventually clicked that as bad as it was we were surviving.BTW agree with any poster who said at the time,"He would never get away we that if there were fans in the stadium."

Can you imagine the reaction fae the George Fox lower if they were in to witness that?. .Micky was a man for Covid times and he will always be remembered fondly in the Bedsit for guiding us to safety in our first season back in with the big boys.

We have been bombarded with how great our youth academy is and we want to introduce more youth players into the first team. Courts said he was one who isn't afraid to get them involved etc (even in his Aberdeen Preview interview on DUTV he was showing off how he managed to play a number of young players)

Comes first game then doesn't play any of them. Neilson, Freeman, Chalmers, Mochrie, Duffy and K.Smith all played a part in the league cup and mostly impressed yet none started? Was he scared? Bottle go already? Feel they weren't ready?

The worst thing as well who were Aberdeen's best players. Their Full backs. Both young players who have both played less than 10 games between them. They played with an energy and an enthusiasm young players play with. No fear! We didn't

No doubt Courts will chuck a few in against Rangers when he probably shouldn't

I think Mellon's teams wouldn't have been as defensive if fans were in the crowd. Mellon seems like a manager who relies on getting a connection with his support, something he couldn't do at United due to COVID. I think he done what was necessary to survive but I feel we might have had more attacking intent if fans were in the ground. Either that or we would have been getting booed every game for how bad it was!

That team doesn’t have the ability to play decent football, boring teams to death was a necessary means to an end under melon, so how are they hoping to achieve top 6 playing attractive football with exact same players.

Totally spot on,even i can understand you play them today with this carrot,"Shear the Sheep today and you are in v The Champions next week in front of fans at Tannadice."What an FN incentive for the young players eh?.

That is the way to go,if they fail today fair enough go back to Micky's boring barstewards v The Rangers to keep the score doon.Is he just too scared to drap the players shouting at him in the Kelty dressing room?.
