My gut feeling, and I hope I’m wrong, with that statement is that we maybe waiting until we sell before we bring anyone in. Robson goes someone will come in. Shanks goes someone comes in benji etc. If this is the case then it’s just smoking mirrors. They say they have a striker teed up if shanks leaves. Surely that’s an area we should be strengthening? As it stands if shanks goes we have appere and Clark. What difference will a striker to replace shanks and not to add to the squad really make if we have to depend on Clark and loui? As I say I hope I’m wrong here.
