Talks of a seven year plan to get to the Championship, also a 350 million pound stadium, cant quite see the plans for a monorail though.

The £350m stadium isn't his £350m, he's just part of it. I would certainly state that it's unsustainable as his fortune is reliant on a bubble right now, and bubbles burst

It's also not a stadium, it's a new arena, which seems a bit of a gamble when Manchester already has a 20,000+ seater arena.

It needs to be put in context that Stockport has a population only 10% below that of Nottingham. They are without doubt potentially a Championship Club.

A friend of mine who's a Man City fan believes Stockport are a sleeping giant who could really go places.

Stockport has a population 10% below that of the City of Nottingham. The wider urban area of Nottingham (Bridgford, Carlton, Arnold, Beeston etc) is about 3 times that of Stockport.

They have two rather large neighbours , especially never more popular than right now Man Citeh who traditionally dominate the fanbase of that side of Manchester.

I was once told about 20 years ago that Gillingham were huge sleeping giants as the only FL club from Kent. They have remained very much asleep since that infamous play off final defeat.
