Good to see you back Wander
Bolton 2 Gillingham 2
Disastrous couple of weeks for Notlob. Battered by Wigan and Plymouth and 2 down with 5 minutes to go against a bog standard Gillingham side. Plus the captain was sacked midweek after an alleged bust up the details of which the club have tried to keep under wraps.
Relegation form recently, with the manager still trying to play "attractive football" despite injuries and suspensions for key players.
Finally..in the last 5 minutes of this game, he put two up top for the first time this season and we salvaged a draw.
Overall, we look like a mid table League 1 team - which ain't bad for a newly promoted side - but at times have flattered to deceive and could end up anywhere. What is clear is that the squad is paper thin and the manager needs to be prepared to abandon his principles if/when the situation requires it.
Good to see you back Wander

Nothing else to do tonight so watched QPR v Nottingham Forest in an enthralling game which had tackles, lots of forward passes, two teams trying to go forward and score goals to win the game and officials who just got on with their job without the encumbrance of VAR and who managed very well indeed. It finished 1-1 with Forest scoring the equaliser in the 1st minute of added time after QPR had scored their goal in the 5th minute of added time at the end of the first half.
Proper game of football which I really enjoyed 25 shots with 8 on target, 13 corners, 22 fouls and just 3 cautions and all were deserved.
Such a change from the sterile stuff served up in the PL with backwards and sideways passing, 7 fouls in a game, VAR intervention, non-flag waving ARs. --you all know what I mean!
Well done to Rangers and Forest for a really good watch.
