It's off Banstead Avenue Woody in Compton. In the seventies I often called in the Oddfellows and Waggy and Frank Munro were usually in, Waggy drank Banks's mild and Munro drank Vodka and lime.

Cheswell Close it is! And it is off Bramstead Avenue to be precise. Thanks anyway. Still looks a nice place to live.

I know the area quite well as my Dad spent his last days in Compton Hospice which is just down the road. I used to drink in The Swan across the road from the Oddfellows when I was a kid, never any celebrities in there. Except me!

Gerry Anderson who wrote for the E&S used to go in the Swan before he died. He hasn't been in since.
