Seem to remember most seasons our ‘friendlies’ are always a bit iffy, I don’t look into it too much. Always want to see us win no matter but this is about stretching the muscles and getting up to par with yourself.
Different kettle o’ fish at scum, only thing what worries me a tad is playing in front of crowds again, I am sure this has been discussed and again, so we’ll see, could go either way, I’m looking forward and can barely wait for kick off.
That Lang ‘looks’ a fair bet, … believe when I see camp for me.

Agree - At least we know our starting eleven & they still have a new mega-bucks centre back Varane to bed in with their one friendly left against Everton this Saturday.Love our Blue kit,proper smart.

We probably have a decent 14 and then it gets thin unless someone steps up.

We do seem to be linked with a lot of midfielders but the most likely seems to be the lad from Huddersfield who may not make an immediate impact in the Prem.

Noah Lang would be good as he can play in a more advanced role too but would be nice to add real quality to the middle of the park.

Not sure if Klich has recovered his mojo properly yet.

We need someone instead of Dallas in that central midfield spot and better back up on the wing, Costa and Poveda just aren't good enough.

Proper back up for Phillips as well, it is the most important position in our team yet the one we seem most happy to play players out of position in which rarely works in a game as evidenced last season when I think we won 2 out of 9 games Phillips didn't play.

Hard to disagree here, However i do not see anything in the media or anywhere else that signings are imminent...

Agreed but I think as Koch is right footed MB won’t play him and Llorente together and think Llorente is currently ahead of Koch and likewise think Struijk better than Cooper (albeit close).

You are right that midfield is a worry especially that middle 3 and I think we need proper quality there if we want to kick on. I know MB loves Klich but he still doesn’t seem right and is getting older. Dams hard if the rumours are true would be good but still need someone to do the hard yards.

Also think we need an alternative up front to PB in case he gets injured or as an alternative when he is having an off day.

Ideally if the friendlies are a guide we need

I am guessing Bielsa'a comments after the match were not must better, he didn't look too pleased towards the end
