Two sessions to us...and an opening partnership of over 20. Unbelievable!
Can we win the whole day?

Can we win the whole day?[/QUOTE]

India bowled over for peanuts, century opening partnership, already building a promising lead, 10 wickets in hand, Root still to bat! Mmm Mm, after lengthy consideration and much mental turmoil, I have to say that I do believe we frigging won a whole days play! Can't cope with this, where's the Valium??
Well done England, more of the same please!

Real Test batting too, mac. Nothing too excitable...no flashing outside the off stump. Correct forward defensive and wait for the bad ball remembering that bowlers tire and there’s another four days to come.
Lovely stuff...a little bit of luck but a well deserved position.

Bat all day tomorrow and build a lead of around 300 by close...I hope.

345 lead, better then hoped for rA!
In theory, weather permitting, we should win this one! Ah, but this is England so......!!

Good recovery by India, need a wicket or two before lunch tomorrow or we might be facing a dodgy final day needing 3 figures to win or, surely not, avoid defeat! Well, this is England so anything goes!

First session this morning crucial, mac. Bowlers worked hard but looked knackered yesterday. Thought Root could have been more imaginative with the spinners. He’s got three if you include Malan and it might have kept the pacemen fresher.
As you say...two or three wickets before lunch and we’ll be okay, but if they put on another 300+ by midday tomorrow I fear another confidence sapping defeat.

Surpassed all expectation. Excellent from Robinson. Let’s hope Derby can carry it on.

Didn't expect an Indian capitulation but did expect a late Florist goal in 'Derby Time'!
This result sets the rest of the series up, agreed about Robinson who shows great enthusiasm and grit as well as skill.
    Well done England!

Can’t help thinking that seven dropped catches and Moeen and Pope’s careless exits yesterday are going to cost us this match and with it the series.
