Is going well then. usual collapse of batting and now we can watch India show us that its a flat track for the next 2 days and once again our inability to balance the side with a proper spinner will bite us in the arse.
Which day are you going rA? if indeed itss till on by then
£ 90 assuming you neither wish to drink nor eat! When it was 2/6 you could take your own 6d beer in instead of paying the £8 a pint price inside the ground - although maybe as a 10 year old you didn't have the same degree of alcohol dependency as you may now have.
England minus 49 for 2!
What a load of baalocks!
What a state our batting is in, Crawley first wicket down has an average in Tests of barely 30!
Says it all really!
Fine century from Rooty but little support from the rest of the rabble the odd 30 apart.
Once again Anderson and Co are left to try and grab a win despite an inept set of batters!
Twas ever thus!
You're right Mac, its been like that (with a few brief golden eras aof a test series or two) since my first recollection of test cricket when Bishen Bedi trapped John Edrich on the last ball of the daysome time in the 70s. In recent times lackof concentration on the 'long game' of a test hasdone for us. Of course having said all this we'll win!
The absence of a fit Stokes and Archer is massive and, unfortunately, certainly in the case of the latter, likely to be long term.
The Indian bowlers are excellent and the conditions haven’t been easy...particularly on Wednesday.
I suspect Crawley and Lawrence are unlikely to feature again for a while but the return of Ollie Pope and possibly Chris Woakes or Moeen Ali might put that right.
India lost the first Test over there in the winter and went on to win the series. The weather might prevent a ‘result’ tomorrow but after losing every session over the first two days we have come back into it over Friday and Saturday. Plenty left to play for in this series.
88% chance of rain this morning and 54% this afternoon. Reasons to be cheerful part 3.
What a bloody embarrassment
