Well done to Howoldboy on his runaway victory I was hoping my stubborn system would reel him in at the death but my last couple of weeks were lame and I slipped to 3rd but however I am very happy with the bronze finish.

Well it took a few years of trying but finally made it to the top of the pile.

Maybe it was a bit easier this year though without Parcelpete and Piglet who are normally also fighting hard for championship honours.

Many thanks to Griff for organising everything and to all the other competitors, especially those who saw it through to the end even when they knew they couldn't win the money.

£100 prize landed in my bank account today and immediately transferred out again to Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland. They have far more need of the funds than me.
