I think you'd be as well doing a Paddy Power and paying out early on that one mate 😂

Its got to be in real life though and i'm getting Peter a massive cheque made up and an official handover covered by the local press.

Think you're 100% correct about the Celtic thing...but not sure how he is undoubtedly a better player with path he chose...spent most of his career on loan...then chooses to go across the pond where the football is definitely not top dollar although to be fair to the lad he's probably being paid it...had a great lifestyle change but surely not a great career path... don't think we'll ever find out how good he might have been

My reply to that would why is he any less capable than the much vaunted Billy Gilmour? Gauld has played much more first team games than him and in an arguably more technically gifted league; whereas i think Gilmour has been very much on the fringes of the Chelsea team. Bottom line he deserves his chance, along with the likes of Gilmour, Turnbull etc. Playing for either of the OF or EPL does not make you a good player, it may help your game. Will he be good enough not all club form is transferred to the International stage and this has been proven historically with the likes of Souness, Dalgleish, Hansen etc. They couldn't inspire Scotland beyond the first round of tourneys and sometimes even had to play in make or break games just to qualify
