It's the fans who are coming away with the Dens Rd drains tbf. Absolute nonsense. The same fans who are shouting to turn the undersoil heating on to dry it out, when in all likelihood, it's the undersoil heating that's f*cked it.

Most teams that can afford it, will relay their pitch in the summer. That has nothing to do with drainage, but yes, the drainage should've been sorted whilst they had the pitch stripped.

Strange game in Netherlands, Scotland excellent for the most part, for me deserved to be ahead in the game at the point of the Dutch second goal, didn't take chances and a late flurry has it looking like a one sided hounding like it was the 2003 playoff away leg type of game

It's not gave me less confidence which is weird given the scoreline, they just need to be more clinical

Clarke. Again. He doesn't learn. We don't have the strength in depth to tinker with changes at 60 minutes. Takes Gilmour, our best midfielder off and replaces him with Ferguson who looked absolutely lost.
To be fair we looked decent for that 60 minutes but if you don't take your chances....
Souttar looks well off the pace and we need Hickey fit because Patterson is a bombscare at that level.

Remember Souttar had a go at United for almost ruining his career for moving him to midfield. Boy is never a centre half, not at that level anyway. Horrific.

Our press and patience on the ball was absolutely great for 60 minutes. It was only when the overconfident manager made stupid changes in the second half that we went to pieces.
Hopefully Germany will just see the 4-0 scoreline and think it'll be easy for them.

If that game is in the finals he would not have made the changes he did to be fair. The massive difference was their changes improved them and as you rightly say our changes weakened us.The other glaring difference was they were clinical and we couldna hit a coos erse we a banjo.

Never ever thought i would say this in my lifetime but here goes, the ancient nation of Scotland for an hour were technically a better football team than the Dutch on their ain midden,FACT.

The chances we missed just can't happen at this level or you'll take a doing. It's the big weakness of this Scotland side. That miss by Shankland, incredible for him to be off target with that.

What is your gripe with Clarke, that was not on him, he had us as GB rightly said looking the better side technically than the Dutch on their own ground but we weren't clinical

A few things to iron out as Clarke, Robertson and McGinn all acknowledged accurately in their interviews but we were excellent for a good 70+ mins and should have been ahead imo

I don't think it impacts things negatively for the euros as it's something to learn from against Germany in the opener

We should have been approaching the whole 90 as a dress rehearsal for the Germany game. The changes completely ruined us and instead of coming away with our heads held high we're on the back of a very bad result again.
And yes I'm prepared to criticise Clark as well as praise him when he gets it right. His negative set ups in the last Euros for example.
His failure to select Armstrong when other players have been out of form. His insistence on McGregor starting every game while leaving McTominay out.
    He's not the Messiah 😎

    He's an excellent manager

Also it wasn't the changes it was a mix of not closing up shop at 2-0 and individual errors from those already on the park, 2nd goal Porteus moving too far from the other CBs and Patterson letting the cross in easy, 3rd goal was just awful a free header from a corner, looked like McTominay fkd up, and last one, ok sub involvement as Souttar and Porteus at fault
