100% we do not want Coonty coming down. I know Thistle are on a run at the moment but they have a few key players out of contract come the end of the season and despite their good end of season, I highly doubt that would continue into next season. Coonty on the other hand have Uncle Roy and his deep pockets and like 5 years ago, I suspect they would buy their way out. Given the clear out we need and how much it will cost us, potentially they may have more disposable income even than ourselves.

I'd like to see Thistle win this as I fancy our chances against County more and them gaining promotion from 4th breaks the hoodoo for us if it all goes **** again next year.

Jordan Whyte had a field day at Tannadice scoring 3 but he reverts to type today v Partick as he misses an absolute sitter to level the game.Its now 3-0 Thistle which makes promotion a whole lot harder next season.

i think both us and county might take a while to fully get going whereas partick i feel would have been ready from the off, cautiously happier with this outcome

I think Partick had around 14 out of contract and a lot of them may have been offered better elsewhere.Uncle Roy could outspend Ogren in his sleep IF he so wishes.

I would fully expect our team to be able to beat either Thistle or County next season! We need to be setting our sights higher than that! There is clearly not much between top 4 of the championship and bottom 4 of the premiership! We are going to be the big scalp in the championship next season and every team is going to be having a go at us. There will be no easy games next season but we should not be fearing anybody!
