Seriously...how difficult would it have been to rearrange the game to Tannadice? Would it have even been a consideration? It just seems bonkers that the players are already there...the fans are en route....Tannadice is sitting a couple of yards up the road with a decent surface. Pretty sure that they knew the game was dodgy the evening before.

Logistically, an absolute nightmare. Given we've just had 2 games in 4 days and have another 2 games in 7 to follow, I doubt it would've been welcomed.

......and this is why we should never ground share! Our own pitch is looking pretty battered after a few games in quick succession. I just wondered if it had even been contemplated. I suppose it opens a can of worms with teams that mught have injuries/suspensions etc

Before the split each team will play either 16 or 17 games at home. We have not yet reached the split and Dundee have had one quarter or 25% of their home games postponed. That is a pretty damning statistic.

I think the SPFL would be investigating it regardless. 4 games postponed in 8 months is a shambles.

Ultimately it is. Lack of basic maintenance, caused by a lack of investment, has caused the issue. All this chat of drains on Dens Rd being blocked is nonsense.

They are clutching at straws as per usual!

Did they not just relay that pitch during the close season last summer? Someone made a huge mistake with the drainage on the park for so many call offs, especially when 1cm of rain can make it unplayable!
