Hearts were pretty ordinary to be honest, no individulal standout performances nor any cohesion. Lowry on loan from TNR was as good as it got. They brought on 3 subbies at half time & then 2 more not long after. Think Hearts have a large squad amounting to not very much and Oor Lawrence, well he barely got a kick.

As it was a good time for United to play Ayr as they had their first choice midfield missing.

As bad as fielding TWO ineligible players V ICT?? Now that is what you call an admin phuck up.

That can happen to any side, probably many times last season as you struggled your way to the title

Hearts certainly weren't fielding the team they'd like to have with the exertions of Thu night and the second leg to think about, best time to play them all season, thrle fun benefitted and squeaked a home win after a poor error from a young lad and very good finish to take advantage of it

You are aware that Hearts started the 2nd half full strength with Boyce, Devlin and Atkinson coming on at h/t and proceeded to lose it 1 nil.

So you won a match in the Premiership, get over it!

By the way we had a bigger home crowd v Dunfermline than you had v Hearts and that was with a smaller away support.
Watch out for that tree on the Ferry Road 😄

And why did they not play the full strength team from the get go?

No wait... You are right, it wasn't a good time to play hearts, would have been better to play them with them having a full week prep for Sat at dens (as it would have been originally) with no distractions or physical game two and a half days before against a better opposition, and have them play a full strength team from the off with no fatigue mental or physical 👍🏻😂
