    Tshimanga

We couldn't sign him according to some because he's under contract.

    Chesterfield just signed him.

Next season is going to be tough that's for sure, there's some good teams by the looks of it.

It’s not so much that we couldn’t sign him, it’s that we didn’t think he’s worth the rumoured fee (£150k region apparently). Whether we’ll be proven right in that, who knows?

It doesn’t take long looking at Tshimanga’s record for one big red flag to jump out, mind.

10/1 for the Spireites to win the league, gotta be worth a tenner.

    Bet placed.

What's the ''big red flag'', Jacob? 222 apps and 94 goals, or the fact that he's still only 24?

Fantastic signing for them. He was obviously the one we were all hoping for over the past two weeks when we were shouting sign a top class striker. Well done Chezzie. The competition at the top just got harder me thinks.

He scores an awful lot of penalties. No bad thing obviously, but well worth taking into account.

Without the penalties, he took more minutes per goal last season than any of Wootton, Rodrigues or even Kairo Mitchell.

Clearly a good player, but 12 goals from open play in 41 starts last season suddenly doesn’t look quite so impressive. Particularly when you’re paying £150k and presumably some serious coin on a three year deal.

Disappointing. Even more disappointing when you think we’ve helped them fund this by signing Taylor and Mitchell....why not splash out on someone proven?

They’ll be buzzing at this signing, this may be the signing that sees them go up 👎

Really surprised he's gone there, I was expecting him to go to a top end League 2 club or middle of League 1. Chesterfield seem to be spending big, but as we know to our cost that doesn't always work out for the best.
