Bank Holiday v Workington. Now you’re talking! Reminds me of a poem

I wandered lonely as a cloud that floats on high o’er hills and dales
When all at once I saw a crowd
A host of rowdy soccer males
Outside the pub, all round the place
    Singing Workington are bloody ace.

I'll let Mr Outwood know in the morning mon ami. "Old Bob" (the father-in-law) wants to come too, but he can't stand for 90 minutes.

We can always sit in the stand BT, I have the same problem, I'd much rather stand on the terraces, but I have to sit for at least part of a game nowadays. It's a bugger this growing old.

Unfortunately Mrs BT has made last minute family plans for a luncheon get together at the Bolton Food Festival today. My life will not be worth living if I don't go!
I hope we can make firm plans for a mid September meetup at a Clitheroe Saturday game. Good luck with the game today mon ami.
    BT.
