Avva mate who has just retired as an umpire in the Halifax Cricket League and he told me of teams comprising 8 or 9 of SE Asian heritage who regularly spoke to each other on the pitch in Urdu and were clearly disrespecting opponents or even white members of their own team as the Urdu comments were followed by laughter and pointing/looking at the individual they were mocking. It lead to a rule that only English could be spoken during games and, by some miracle, the mocking laughter stopped.
A dunt agree with the formation of the Bradford Asian League only open to teams made up of players of SE Asian heritage, Imagine the outrage and uproar if it were a Bradford English League only open to those of white British heritage.
It's a reyt canna wurms.

The south Asian people have got to be the kindest people on earth.
They are also very class conscious and racially aware.
It’s ridiculous seeing individuals from the UK beating themselves up about a tweet 20 years ago or putting makeup on 15 years ago.
Things and attitudes change.
The UK has to be the least racist country in the world.

Many years ago my brother married an Indian from Kolkata.
My parents didn’t like the idea of him marrying an Indian.
Her father was a Major in the Indian Army and her mother a teacher - they didn’t want their daughter lowering herself by marrying a miners son.

Yeah I noticed that loads more have left or been sacked, including Martin Moxon and Andrew Gale.
Gale says he is considering his options and might be taking this to trial.
I think the county owners are going way over the top now in an attempt to make us look squeeky clean from now on.
