Posh said Jack was doubtful and he started against us. Tom will be in.

Four years and a couple of weeks ago we hammered Hull 5-0, in yet another false dawn, at PP.
Think only Davies and Lawrence remain in our squad from that memorable evening, but Huddlestone was, if I remember correctly, the ‘master puppeteer’.
Let’s hope that four years, a lack of match fitness and some close ‘marking’ can prevent a Huddlestone repeat.

Much improved. Tip of the hat to my usual whipping boys Jozwiak and Bird, much better and Bird covered a lot of ground

Roos, Never worried by Hull. Distribution better than at Posh but still needs to improve
Byrne, Better than against Posh. Still needs to improve his crosses
    Jagielka, Solid performance
    Davies ©, Solid performance
Buchanan, First game of the season due to injury and it showed. A yard slower than last season. Good work leading to our goal
Shinnie, Better than against Posh but still below his usual par
Bird, Excellent. Defensively sound, a couple of great forward passes especially the one to Joz when he hit the post
Jozwiak, Chalk and cheese. This is the Joz we want to see. a couple of quieter periods but came back into it
Morrison, AM and DM all in one. Very good
Sibley, Started brilliantly, went off the boil and then played a solid role
Baldock. Didn't impress me pre season, this was better and he pounced well for the goal.

Pleased with that performance. ref was poor. Rams players pulled down a few times and nowt. Tother road round he gave most of them. Biggest problem was 20th minute. Corner. Jags goes towards the near post. Defender grabs his shirt with his right hand and puts his left arm round Jags' neck and pulls him over. Nailed on penalty........... not given though.

Oh, nearly forgot.......... Red Dogs 23rd with zero points so far
