I remember his later performances on 8 out of 10 cats does countdown he did sound pretty rough when he was talking. Wouldn't surprise me if the cancer was related to his throat.

One of my favourites. You always knew you would have a chuckle or three whenever he appeared on TV.
Lucky to have seen him live at the music hall around 10 years ago.
Need to watch the much underrated 15 Storeys High again soon.

He didn't seem to do the sell out thing these days where you spot these comedians on every show with the same old faces. Romash Ranganathan is funny but every time you change the channel these days he's on.
