Silva gets a header on goal off the corner. Just right at the goalie

    0-1 FT

Two 1-0 losses this year. Two matches that I felt we outplayed the opposition. Just need to see the ball go in the net and get some confidence

Personally I'd have Traore practising one-on-ones against the goalkeeper for the next 5 days.

Frustrating for sure, but at least the style of play was promising. If we can maintain this level of intensity we should be OK this season.
    Just need GOALS!!!

Disappointing result ! We deserved better from our performance today, but until we rediscover the art of scoring goals we may suffer further frustration before our fortunes improve. On the bright side, Sa gave a very good performance and I thought our overall movement on and off the ball was encouraging. Next week won't be easy, but on the strength of our first two games I'm hopeful our lads will play with the same zest and persistence they showed today (preferably garnished with a goal or two).

We’ve had the better expected goals (xG) and have doubled up our opponents on shots in both games.

As long as we don’t lose confidence, I think the goals should come. I think we are still feeling a bit snakebit from last season when we struggled to score as well.
