They say bring back standing in football........

....and this happens. Has anyone felt the concrete floor under your feet at the NYS buckle/bend when several folk have jumped up and down to celebrate? I certainly have.

Wonder what would happen if everyone went with the same momentum, would anything of ours crack/break/snap/fold in? Afterall, it's only cast concrete dropped into framework.

It’s a great point Brin, we have some of the fattest fans in the country, I can feel it buckling when people are sat down

Yes I have felt some sort of movement, does it actually move though or is our brain fooling us?

I’d be surprised if it’s doesn’t get inspected often and more surprised if it did actually collapse unless we have an earthquake

They are designed to move to allow bending forces to dissipate. Just not as much as that one did.

So we’re not imagining it then, that’s good to know

this wasn't a few fans randomly jumping around, but they were jumping in unison.

Given our fans struggle to sing and clap in unison, what are the odds on our fans being able to jump up and down in unison?

I don’t think they have concret stands do they so not that surprising tbh

This could easily happen at Gillingham

Did anyone here experience the scaffolding stand at Barnet? The back row of that was pretty scary. It swayed way more than it should have.
