    knock on effects

The current embargo sees us having most of the U23 side in the first team squad.

This means the 23s are shorthanded and the co-opt U18s in to make up the numbers.

This leads to the 18s having to bring U16s and U17s in.

The 1st XI doesn't seem to suffering much due to the lack older, wiser heads so far but the knock on effect may well be detrimental to the 23s and 18s.

Both of those sides have a decent history of late. Might the current situation be consigning both to relegation?

Point taken but so long as we don't run out of players in the most junior team, isn't it character-building?

Indeed, those 7 year old strikers going up against 6 foot plus under 16 defenders will definitely build some character
