I think we will field a similar side. Some of these youngsters are knocking on the 1st 11 imo. That lad who scored a hatrick looks really good.

EPL Chelsea v Villa 11th September.

Carabao Cup Chelsea v Villa 14th/15th September.

Probably more or less the same team as against Barrow.

we should not fear playing our kids, they are fearless. It is no longer a bomb squad of failed buys, these kids are the future of this club, and will take us to the promised land

Absolutely chaps. Our cup team is no longer riddled with deadwood, sulking players with little to play for. The team is vibrant and free-flowing, breathing new life into the older lads. Hourihane was like a spring chicken, excellent, but sadly his set-piece conversion rate continues to disappoint.

Not saying that we’ll beat the West London Oligarchy, but these lads will certainly not fear them, and neither should we.

    Bring it on!!

My fear is these kids could geturned over by the same score If Chelski field a strong team, Im hoping it conflicts with their CL build up.
This is the one competition I always feel we can win....

Remember kids v Liverpool Dave? No fear there or long term damage.
