    FAO Griff and forum expert HTML types

    Is there a way to prevent copy and pasting on this forum?

    IE - can you protect a post to stop someone copying it and pasting elsewhere?

    I can think of posting an image of what's written rather than typing it out, but is there a jazzy code way of doing it?

    No, you can highlight, copy & paste or take a screenshot of it

    There's not really any way to do this, sorry Piglet.

    HTML Code:
    <script>
    function disableselect(e) {
        return false;
    }

    function reEnable() {
        return true;
    }

    document.onselectstart = new Function("return false");

    if (window.sidebar) {
        document.onmousedown = disableselect;
        document.onclick = reEnable;
    }
    </script>

    Maybe I could embed some hidden code which would destroy the other forum.

    Ibo thinks it’s all about him. He puts Piglet’s efforts (which must take him a while) in quotation marks and sits back thinking he’s clever. Meanwhile, most folk miss the quote marks and credit him for the effort. Poor show. There again, he’s not the brightest bulb in the illuminations, is he?
