Time for McBride/butterworth to step up

So we fail to land a striker in the transfer window.
This gives a open door to one of our young strikers to step up and make a name for themselves.

Butterworth is actually more of a number 10, play maker. he is not a central striker, in the mould of say DG. He isn't a target man. More of a Dack type player.
McBride is a bit too raw yet and not quite ready. I don't feel he would benefit massively at this stage of his career.

We may still get in a player on a free who is a free agent. Or look again around xmas.
I am happy they didn't rush in and panic buy.
That lad from Southampton didnt want to come here, and I won't lose any sleep over that one. Lowe I was not sure about, he always looked pretty decent.
If a deal could not be done, then no point risking FFP. Not sure we are that desperate anyway.
