Surely City have been struggling too long, since they were relegated on goal difference i think some years ago from the southern league prem.

City are a big club, in their day bigger than United, and can still be. New ground coming, a new everything.

Which brings me to Robbie Nightingale the manager. I run the risk of becoming tedious in my quest for perfection, and by so being a perfectionist, all come up short.

And must be fired.

Nightingale, under scrutiny, must come up short by several miles. I dont know if he lives in the fens, i hope he does, maybe stealing ducks may suffice as a substitute for football management.

When the day comes, i must urge the City chairman to count the cutlery. Oh, hang on there isnt any. It must have been hawked at Willingham auctions some years ago.

Farewell, Robbie. Much effort, little reward.
