Lavender Marriage

In recent years we have had new types of marriages in the U.K. such as same *** marriages.
However last Friday I discovered another type of marriage which I had never heard about namely a Lavender marriage.
Having carried out research I now know what is a Lavender marriage.
My question is. Have any other posters previously heard of a Lavender marriage and without checking the internet know who qualifies to be in a Lavender marriage.

Never heard of it until I saw it posted 're the Murrells a few year back.

Would imagine it's a fairly old slang term seldom used up here, wouldn't imagine it's a new term....cud be wrong.
