It’s a welcome return to Championship football today after the two week International break.
It’s also the green light for a return to capacity crowds at stadiums again. Whether we will have a capacity crowd at the Swansea.com stadium this afternoon is debatable though as some fans are understandably still hesitant about mixing in crowded places.
The opposition are last season’s League One Champions Hull City.
After a brilliant 1-4 win at Preston on the opening day of the season they’ve suffered three straight defeats before breaking the sequence, drawing 0-0 at home to Bournemouth last time out.
Boss Grant McCann will be boosted by the return of last season’s top-scorer Mallik Wilks, George Moncur and possibly Josh Magennis for today’s match.
Swans meanwhile have hopefully used the two week break well, got their fitness levels up and are fully understanding of the new system RM wants us to play.
Since the Preston debacle we are boosted by new signings Rhys Williams, Olivier Ntcham and Michael Obafemi, who will all play some part in today’s match.
Liam Walsh, Flynn Downes and Ben Cabango have also returned to training following injury and illness respectively, but it may be a bit early for them.
