The chances of a qualifier and a no hoper playing out the final of a major outstripped Leicester winning the Prem.
Thrilling match of conflicting styles and it would be nice to see them meet again in another final - but the chances of that are zero.

Because BT the draw has to be so they are in both halves 50/50 chance. There are only 4 slams per year.Next they will both need to be at the top of their game to get to the final whilst the top 3-4 players will all need to be knocked out by lower ranked players who these two meet deeper in the tournament.Chances are 100/1 on a good day.1000/1 in reality.

The way the two lasses went at it was a joy to watch. I hope we can see them do battle again, but I get your point.

Yes much better than the scowling screeching Williams for example who cant accept line judge or refereeing decisions.

At their age these two could have 15 good years in front of them, that's 60 slams. and drawn in opposite halves in around 30 of them. If they continue to progress they could dominate women's tennis, and in such an event they will be very likely to meet again in a slam final. Of course they may not progress, they might get injured, who knows, but right at this moment I'd say there a very good likelihood they'll meet again in a slam final. Impossible to say just what the chances are, my guess would be a better than 50% chance, given that they both look to have plenty of scope to get even better, but it's no more than a guess, it depends on so many different things.

The chances are certainly not zero though, it's very possible it will happen.

Articulate and athletic, a very refreshing change to the norm is Miss Raducanu. I hope she can stay focussed and stay "normal".

She has one big advantage, she seems fairly 'normal' to start with, a lot of them aren't.
