    Dean Smith

I did say, according to Football Insider, Smith is fighting to keep hes Job....now could be ClickBait but no smoke without fire!
With serious cash being spent, the expectations of the Owners has gone up. A good win v the Toffes should keep the wolves from the door.

I must admit, I thought it was as well but just keeping the Family informed. Don't shoot the messenger and all that!

Were in a ruthless industry. If Deano doesnt produce results he will be fired. Hope not though. I wonder what the expectations for the season are? Surely Europe

It would make no sense whatsoever to buy the quality we have and then put the manager under pressure to perform from the off, he has to get it right on the pitch though in terms of gameplan, intensity for 90 minutes, substitutions etc. We have an exciting squad of talented youth and experienced pros - lots to look forward to.

Early days for this sort of talk but if we're looking dire by Christmas the knives will be sharpened.

I think the worst thing for a club is to have someone that you emotionally connect with, it makes you blind. We all loved Deano, hes a Holte Ender, the heart felt stories of his dad and his passing, pulls at the heart strings BUT the guys ploughing the money in have a Business to run and for all that outlay, they do not want to hear the word 'Relegation' the same will happen when eventually, Gerrard goes back to Liverpool, if he does not become successful, it will become hard to sack him....
If anyone else been in charge, we the supporters would have hounded them out long before now!
