When Pacific Media Group purchased Nice they had qualified for the Europa League.It was 12 months later when they qualified for The Champions League.

There has been a massive change since the Patrick era.
Have we forgotten that every season a nearly new team had to be built with loan players and journey men.
Not many clubs will have seen more players than what we have seen at Barnsley.
Can you imagine the club signing a player like Mido right now ?

The high quantity of loans and journeymen players was stopped as a strategy in the Cryne era, signing young players below 26yrs was already in place when the consortium arrived.
