    I don't believe the figures. There would be more context if they showed the discharge figures as well. But if they did that then it would show hospitals are not as busy as portrayed. And a death within 28 days of testing positive??? even though they die of summat else. And the test could easily have been a false positive in the first place. And the patient probably caught covid in the hospital...

    A less talked about factor is repeating positives - a PCR test is stipulated for repeated hospital treatments and one can test positive up to 90 days after having Covid, each +ve test goes down as a "new infection" with the usual hassle from test & trace including knocking on doors. Big stress for those patients and their other halves/carers having to explain themselves over & over again.

    I don't trust the numbers at all as a barometer, it should be clear that it's either a Covid death or not as other political decisions re safety measures are being made based on this data - mad.
