Another Covid myth forced upon us

I enclose details of an article by the World Health Organisation which states ‘We did not say that cash was transmitting Coronavirus’. https://www.marke****ch.com/story/wh...CMdnl2CmTiLCMw
However we were told at the start of the pandemic that we should not handle cash as it could be a cause of transmitting Coronavirus now called Covid-19 virus.
On the Calmac ferries everything has to be purchased by using a debit or credit card even for a bar of chocolate as cash is banned because it is spreading coronavirus.
Yet another crazy decision by the Scottish Government Transport Minister.
Daily newspapers have not been sold on the larger Calmac car ferries since 23rd March 2020 as handling newspapers can cause the spread of coronavirus.
I asked one of the crew how they kept up to date with the news if they can no longer purchase a newspaper whilst they are working their two week stint on board the ferry. The crew member replied that sometimes a passenger left a newspaper which they had finished reading having purchased it prior to arriving at Kennacraig for their sailing to Islay. Under this theory a newspaper brought on board the Calmac ferry by a passenger could also be contaminated with Coronavirus.

Just a thought. Stop posting this political, Covid pish, and get this forum back to what it’s supposed to be. A football forum, about the Dees.
