Thread: V Everton

It's so refreshing knowing we have quality on the bench that Deano can put on where he can change the formation if needed, instead of throwing a 'big lad' up front and hoping something happens.

Leon Bailey, yes please!! How exciting is this lad? Jack who?

I do think though if we are going to play with two attacking wing backs then Targett isn't the answer on the left. He is unable to go past a player and so consequently very often tries to cross a ball through the opposition. 4-4-2 he is fine

Strange bacause I always thought Targett was good at crossing and not so good at defending, it seems to have gone the other way but I agree. On the other hand, Cash is a natural in the wing back position.
    Maybe Young should start?

In general agreement with comments on here (first time for everything), I think when we go with a back 5 we use Ash, and a back 4 we use targett, I would not have gone with a back 5 yesterday however, I would reserve that for sides that attack with a 5, like pool, abudabi, chelski etc. Liking Bailey a lot, positive mover, slight concern over his general conditioning but that will come at bodymore. Onwards and upwards.

The shear elation on Cash's face is why I love the Villa. Can we start Baily and Buendía? What an exciting attack we're developing If we turn Manure over I may combust with joy.
