Celtic and Rangers B teams could be SUSPENDED from the Lowland League and have their results voided if clubs can’t fix a row with the SFA.

In May the Old Firm Colts were voted into the fifth tier of Scottish football for one season only, with Rangers currently second and Celtic sixth spot.

But last season’s rules don’t recognise B teams.

And with the Old Firm ineligible for promotion to League Two, the SFA are in no rush to sign off on new rules that would allow the Lowland League to choose their own champions to go into the pyramid play-off game against the Highland League winners.

The SFA want an agreement hammered out over new rules regarding the promotion process.

And they've warned the Lowland League that the Old Firm clubs could be suspended and results declared null and void until that is all sorted.

I am willing to bet that rules will be changed to avoid taking on the Old Firm
