Swindon Town are happy to have come to an agreed decision with the EFL
over the non-payment of wages.
The football club was charged with misconduct by the EFL, for failing to
comply with regulation 63.7 - After players were not paid in June 2021,
After working with the EFL, the club have accepted the proposed sanction
from the EFL, which see Swindon Town bear the costs of the ratification
of the agreed decision.

There is a suspended 3 points deduction, which will come to effect if the
club breaches regulation 63.7 on or before 30 June 2022.

The issue of non-payment of wages was inherited from previous ownership,
all players have been paid what was owed, & now are being paid on time.

EFL seem to have sorted the Swindon Town issue fairly quickly, while the
Derby County issue is like a long drawn saga.
