And , like everyone else, when Roberts came on, I just knew we were never going to win. WTF is he even doing in the squad, never mind in the team???? As usual, when Roberts comes on, it's..... GAME OVER.
I'd like to see another statistic in the post match stats roundup...corners, yellow cards etc. I'd be interested in the "Tame Shots Directly At Keeper", cos I'm pretty sure we dominated that one.....again.

Really you thought he had a good game, would hate to see him have a bad one, 13 Mil spent on a player that in my eyes looks lazy compared to Alioski. Christ he was jogging back when they had possesion in our area.
Some will say we are building the team up from the U23's but they ain't gonna hang around not being played if a bigger and better team come in for them.
Really don't know what MB sees in Roberts. Newcastle are dreadful but we made them seem average tonight. Radz is in Never Neverland if he thinks we will be in Europe in the next two years.
Not if he manages to get an early bird discounted package deal for a team holiday to Euro Disney. The added bonus of that is that we could leave Roberts behind as they are always looking for ineffectual clowns to dress up as Disney characters; maybe we could part exchange him for Goofy?

I so want Roberts to get better and be good but I suspect Shackleton and Summerville will push their way ahead of him as the season goes on. Summerville looks to have a great first touch, confidence and picks a pass as well as being speedy Gonzales.
Greenwood also can’t be far away from making a bow.
Let’s hope a few step up next week against Fulham.
Wish we had Saint - Maximin - if you added him into the mix he would unlock doors in a different way - surprised Newcastle have hung on to him
😆👍
Look back at the highlights and Firpo was involved in two of our best attacking movements - the break and pin point cross to Rapha. Second half the run, give and go and then pass to Klich who messed it up and should have fed Rapha.
Yes he missed a sitter but he wasn’t alone. Cooper and Ayling are not the greatest CB pairing we have so give the lad a break surely.
He has all the attributes to be excellent so let’s give him a little bit of a break before writing him off.
