    Brentford Match Day Thread

Three points will be a massive step up for us. Not overconfident, Brentford have looked pretty useful when I have had the chance to see them.

Not sure I will be out of bed to watch the game so, Mitch, Abbo, step up to the plate as the saying goes.

    Come on mi Babbies!!!!

Same starting lineup as the Watford match.

Wolves dominating possession so far. No chances yet, but we’ve made good, smart passes.

Through passes aren’t working too well for us. Attackers on different pages early.

Marcal with some awful defending on Toney, leading to a Brentford penalty. Can’t hug a player in the box.

Toney sends Sa the wrong way, 0-1

Neither team had really threaten at all in the match. Really silly penalty to give away for Marcal

Really fortunate that Tony handled the ball in front of the goal, otherwise Brentford would have scored another quick goal.

Wolves need to regather their composure

Traore with a quick shot outside the box, deflects and hits the crossbar. Unlucky not to go in. Wolves trying to get the equalizer before halftime.

Kilman makes a tackle as Toney tries ot breakaway, unfortunately the ball just bounces right back to Toney and he makes a fantastic pass to his teammate right in front of goal

Wolves can have no complaints. We have not played smart in defense and handed Brentford the two goals

The worst half of the season since the first half against Leicester. Marcal and Saiss the main culprits. Jimenez is putting in the work, but when he’s had the ball, he’s tried to make the spectacular pass instead of just the smart one. Trying to get too cute. Traore visibly frustrated with Marcal at times.

Don’t know if we have two goals in us in the second half, but I expect some changes to be made pretty early.
