I would imagine that Val had a few draws with Barnsley but still put in a good run. Fulham faltered again, Stoke lose to Derby. Only Bournemouth made some ground. Still in a good position but Maybe Val will get the big guy who helped Barnsley in the transfer window in January.

    Another hugely disappointing result.

Agent Peace’s ambition of delivering us a “mid table Championship club” is very nearly complete through his surrogate Lai.

    FOL FOP 😤😤😤😤

Very open Championship this season .... even Fulham who have probably the best squad in the Div have now lost two games out of eight. At least we remain unbeaten .... but you need wins in this Div to prosper ... that was always Slaven Bilic’s motto

Morton scored today for Fleetwood, an Albion player that knows where the net is, pity he’s not playing for us! Can we swap him for Grant and Zohore?

The one thing we didn't do was draw too many games last season under Val .

First half of the season we either won or lost .

The second half we just won .

I'd imagine you've a fair shout of getting Daryl Dike in January but I suspect it may only be the loan deal that we were able to get .

Orlando are looking for £13m for Dike .

MLS season will be over so there's no issues there .

Just bear in mind that Dike is only 20 years old and whilst he's talented he's not the finished article by any means .

Valerien Ismael: West Brom must improve in the final third
Stating the bleeding obvious, won’t improve with the likes of Hugill and Grant that’s for certain

The vast majority of us are more than interested to see how Val goes on at Albion .

He gave us our fourth best ever season in our history and other than the 4k who were allowed to attend the play off semi final nobody saw one single minute of last season inside a football stadium .

In many respects we feel short changed not to have witnessed such a season other than on a computer .

When Albion took him to the Hawthorns in June it just added to the feeling of short changed with all due respect .

We are definitely missing his presence at the moment with a real lack of intensity to our play and with Mowatt joining him we look a shadow of what we were last season .

That tells you lads just what a good HC you have at your club , I sincerely hope the owner backs him because even Val can't do it all on his own .

It would be a mistake too to do something rash if you fall short this season .

Val knows the players he needs and he may not have them yet at Albion .

Good post and sensible. No manager in the world could get goals if strikers don’t know how to score. Again as Mick said - had we paid the money for Okay and Diange we would be romping this league.

Livermore is s hit and we don’t have a striker and not had one since Gayle left, was not a fan of HRK or Austin but sadly they are better than what we have at the moment!

What does Grant bring to the gig?
