    Perchino

Just seen he has been ruled out for the rest of the season after a freak injury that has resulted in a fractured skull.

Poor bloke - hope he comes through ok and can continue playing if that is what he wants.

I didn't know he was still playing to be honest. Raul Jimenez came back from a fractured skull so hopefully Perchino can do the same

    Aye but he's signifiantly young.

    Perchino is 36.

Plays for Mansfield now, was their Captain till this happened.

Well, I guess the main thing is he's ok,

He's made of strong stuff, is James Perch, so I don't doubt he's got it in him to come back if that's what he wants. However, at 36 he might think 'nah, that's me done'.

He encapsulates the starting point for what we expect from players who pull on our shirt-commitment, effort, honesty and bravery. If you've got skill to go with that, fantastic, but if you've got those other qualities you'll always be appreciated here.

Always liked him, he used to put a shift in for us.
