RIP Jimmy Greaves and nice to be back

Rip Jimmy Greaves - a great man and a great player

Well having not posted on here for a few years due to some changes in my life (I moved to another country), I have decided to re-regiter and see what everyone is saying about all the goings on at our beloved club.
The press are all obviously saying the same things, so really, I'm looking through seeing and reading if supporters will think our club will survive this horrible atrocity.
Im hoping somebody will come in and rescue the club but in reality I'm thinking who would want us know.
Rooney has been great in his tenure at the club and can't help thinking he's the glue that holding this club together......the light at the end of the tunnel.
Fingers crossed we get through this and we get to see great times again.

    Welcome Back

Starting to warm to Rooney, nice to hear that as a recently ex-player he expressed concern for the 'normal employees' of the club, the sort of thing I thing Cloughie would have said

Regarding Geavsie, clearly a great player although the only time I saw him he didn't get a sniff and Derby won 5-0! Loved him on Saint and Greavsie

    Welcome back DR76!
Agree totally about Greavesie, loved watching him play especially for England and thoroughly enjoyed his show with St John (Saint and Greavesie)! Thanks for the memory Jimmy, RIP.
This is the worst thing about being a footie club fan, you rely on others to look after the well being of your club and are helpless when they cock up, that seems a common theme with the Rams!
So, we wait and see and hope for the best but fearing the worst! Well impressed with Wayne and the players, the one silver lining!
    Keep posting.

I think he’s been a breath of fresh air as far as former mangers go…..comes across very well on interviews. I know a lot of supporters are saying the same thing and we can’t all be wrong.

To young to see him play but I have seen footage of him and he was unlucky to miss out on the World Cup final.
I grew up watching him on saint and greaves is. I wish they made Saturday mid morning programmes like that nowadays!!
