It's about 500 kilometers north of his last job but, he managed Burnley so maybe not.

By now everyone surely knows to steer well clear of Ashley

In any other job he would have had the bullet, wouldn't be shocked if fatty is building a case to fo0k him off for free
That would be the perfect scenario let’s hope your right mate

Howe would be my first choice right now - at least we'll know he'll try and get us to play football, rather than just putting 11 men behind the ball and hoping St. Max can pick it up and run it down the other end.

Best example I can give is Almiron.
Totally off his game, out of position, lost. No longer an impact going forward. We have the players but totally out of position.

If we go 442 you will see a difference in our performances.
I think you're right. I'd like to see what Howe can do with these players.

He left Burnley to go back to Bournemouth for family reasons. As well as the death of his Mum which precipitated the move, though, I think there was a feeling that he wasn't comfortable being away from there.

I suspect this would be a move too far, literally.

That and the fact that he's not a moron like Bruce-you'd hope a seemingly intelligent man like Howe wouldn't even consider working under fatso.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you Zip.

This is a good point. In a way, I'd lose respect for him if he were to take the job, although simultaneously I'd be excited to see what he could do here.

Of course, he could take the job being optimistic that the takeover is going to go through. Now that would be ideal.
