    Think it was 5-1.
As for players Craig Ramage, Rikki Otto, both didn't last long due to injuries
If ever you want to check back on a game (date, scores, scorers, attendance etc) there's always Up The Maggies' wonderful website. Am sure almost everyone knows about it, but just in case someone doesn't:

This (IMO) was a massive moment for the club. Pavis sent Kuhl back to Derby after a sending off (away at Barnsley if I recall) without discussing it with the then manager Mick Walker. This directly led to Walker leaving the club, Russell Slade being appointed and us getting relegated from what is now the Championship. We have rarely threatened to get back to that level.

For all the good that Pavis did the club his meddling in team affairs at times let him down and this was no exception.

That's the one, it was 5-1 I remember now you've said it. I know we got a penalty as well I remember that vaguely from the video.

Thanks Cher, I wasn't aware of that so will use it for reference in the future

It's probably necessary for me to apologise in advance as you may lose days of your life on there, especially when you click on the TV button

The game I was referring to was a 1-0 win. It would have been in 1989 I think.

I remember the 5-1 game though as well. That was after we came back down so would have been 1993 I think.

What a winger Dave smith was. Loved his penalties too!

If we had been promoted last season then Mark Ellis would have deserved a mention as an influential player with his goals.

Mick Walkers 1st game in charge, after Warnock sacking

I think he had at least one dull away game before that. Despite games like the 5-1 at home, Walker’s away record was poor if I recall, certainly it was pretty hard to watch some of the performances.
